The Federal government of Somalia has participated in the International Agriculture and Livestock Fair in Izmir, Turkey.

The Minister for Agriculture and Irrigation of Somalia Hon. Said Hussein Iid, led the Somali delegation which also included the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Turkey, H.E Ambassador Jama Abdullahi Mohamed.

The Federal Government of Somalia used the opportunity during the 14th largest agricultural fair in Turkey and one of the four largest agricultural fairs in Europe to strengthen cooperation in the agricultural and livestock sector while also marketing the republic’s vast opportunities.

The Minister for Agriculture and Irrigation of Somalia Hon. Said Hussein Iid, held talks with his counterpart, the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli, where they discussed strengthening collaboration in the agricultural field.

The 14th edition of the Izmir International Agriculture and Livestock Fair also brought together Agriculture ministers of 7 countries.
