H.E Ambassador Jama Abdullahi Mohamed has today officially launched Embassy online service provision platform, Negeeye to fasten service delivery to both the citizens and non-citizens of the Federal Republic of Somalia seeking assistance from the Embassy.
The service, first of its kind by the embassy, is a pioneer innovation that seeks to enable applicants to acquire embassy services from the comfort of their homes while also containing the spread of #COVID19 by reducing crowding at the embassy.
The innovation was officially launched after outstanding efforts from the Embassy’s IT department with the guidance of H.E Ambassador Jama Abdullahi as part of reforms measures to enhance service delivery at the Embassy.
Negeeye is also expected to ease the long-distance journeys for people based in other cities outside Ankara and the transportation cost of movements to physically reach the embassy for service-related purposes.
Negeeye ensures the authentication of documents required by both the Federal Republic of Somalia and the Republic of Turkey.
It was a joyous moment for Abdisatar Aden Hersi, who became the first citizen to be served after he completed his application using the service.
Negeeye facilitates appointment to receive documents and in some cases, completes the needs of the applicant by providing the required documents.
